Letter to Your Mother
3. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, write a
letter to your mother thanking her for the valuable things you have learnt from
her.

Dear Aai,
Today is the most important day in my life, I am writing this letter to
wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day. I am proud of you Aai(Mother) as this
special day is reserved for the closest and dearest person in my life, that is
you. I full agree with you that there is no need to celebrate Mother’s Day
because it is hardly possible to express gratitude to a mother. But I think it
is a day to salute all the mothers in the world for their selfless affection
for their children.
It
is a day for me to write something to you. You have been my best friend. It is
from you that I have learnt most valuable lessons in my life. You have taught
me to think positively and face the problems without fear. You have also taught
me to respect elders and their opinions.
The
values, morals, your directions and suggestions are the valuable possessions of
my life. It will be my unpardonable mistake if I ignore you and your special
day. I have to say thank you for everything you have given me. You have given
proper shape to my life and have made me a good human being.
‘THANKS’ is an inadequate word, to express my gratitude. I have no
further words. Love you always, Aai.
